John Ryan is the practitioner of the Firm who has extensive experience in the conduct of defences in criminal matters before the Magistrate Court and the Superior Courts in Queensland.
For most people, contact with the Criminal Law usually involves matters arising from traffic incidents including drink driving charges and the like. Most of these matters are dealt with in the local Magistrates Court at Proserpine.
In addition instructions are taken from clients for the conduct of committal proceedings in more serious criminal matters.
Some serious matters are dealt with by Judge and Jury either in the District Court at Bowen or the Supreme Court at Mackay or Townsville. This Firm takes instructions in all such matters in which case it is usual to brief a barrister for representation in court.
Telephone Mr Ryan to discuss any issues involving appearances in court as soon as possible after service with a Summons or a Notice to Appear.
Fee estimates can be provided after initial consultation.
